Having arrived at the working prototype stage we started telling a few folk about it to promptly discover signficant and immediate demand for Type 69 Passive Equalisers. We changed our plans and developed a Type 69 with a view to bringing it to market first. We took comfort from the fact that the Type 78 appealed to a much younger generation of musician who weren't even born when the original Helios company was closed: Dick and I had always hoped that it was quality and not nostalgia alone that drove this market.
