| Type 69 Passive Equaliser |
| The original Type 69 was produced in a number of different versions - the early ones being developed while Dick was at Olympic Studios and the later versions for Island and others. The principal differences related to the transformer type and whether germanium or silicon transistors were used. Since Helios was a custom console manufacturer, these differences were quite normal. |
| In recreating the Type 69 as a standard unit we've had to make choices about component types. We've done this with a view to getting a 'good' sound as close as we can get to the best of the original units. However control of the bass end has always been perceived to be a weak spot for Helios equalisers so we have added a switch to give more control. Purists can leave this switch in its off position. |
| It will be available as a dual unit in a 1U rack form or a single channel console module. |

| Type 78 Active Equaliser |
| This is based on the last consoles delivered in 1978/79, offering active equalisation with all parameters continuously variable. This will be available first as a two channel unit in a 2U rack panel, self powered. |
| The next steps will be to add a mic amp to it, and then do a 1U high single channel version for guitarists. Please let us know what you are interested in. |
